Hydrofacial (H2O Facial) - There you glow!

What is a hydrofacial?

A hydrofacial is a fully customizable, non-invasive, luxury treatment that provides all the glamorous results of a chemical peel with zero down time. It is like a wet microdermabrasion - a minimally invasive resurfacing procedure - however, a hydrofacial in a non-invasive treatment. A hydrofacial treatment is where a device is used to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and deliver an array of different serums. Hydrofacials help to loosen and unclog the pores, as well as remove buildup of debris and sebum(oil). That combined with a gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells and an abundance of hydration, this treatment will leave you with an overall smoother, brighter tone and ready for your close up!

Our Hydrofacial Process

Each part of the hydrofacial treatment uses a different tip on the handheld device depending on what step the esthetician/provider is on.

Step 1: Double Cleanse

Our Hydrofacial starts with a manual cleanse with a cleanser (based on each individual clients needs) where we remove any makeup or debris on the face, neck, and décolletage. After the first cleanser is removed, we go in with a double cleanse in which we use the Ultimate Skin Refiner to really dislodge any of that dead skin and impurities, thus leaving the skin undeniably clean.

Step 2: Dermaplaning (Optional)

The second step of our hydrofacial includes dermaplaning. Our skin care experts will use a degreasing prep solution, an AHA/BHA blend in a witch hazel base designed to remove excess oil and bacteria without stripping or over drying, to prepare the skin for dermaplaning. A scalpel is used to gently exfoliate the top layer of skin and remove some of the vellus hairs (peach fuzz), to allow the next step, which is the enzyme mask, to really sink deep into the skin.

Step 3: Exfoliate (Enzyme Mask/Peel)

The third part of the our hydrofacial process is an enzymatic peel. Enzymatic peels utilize gently exfoliating fruit-based enzymes to dissolve dead skin cells, support skin cell renewal and soften skin texture with minimal irritation. They are perfect for all skin types, especially dry or sensitive skin, our professional enzyme peels deliver powerful skin rejuvenation and visible results in just one treatment.

Step 4: Extract

The extraction process uses a targeted treatment solution to help open pores for extractions and facilitate the removal of impurities from congested and blemish-prone skin allowing more thorough extractions and optimal results. The extraction tip on the Ultimate Skin Refiner is then used to suck out all the gunk and buildup in your pores. Not only does having nice clean pores feel amazing, it reduces the appearance of them as well!

Step 5: Hydration Infusion

This next step of our hydrofacial treatment is probably the best part of this treatment for the simple fact it is so customizable. It will include infusing “enhancers” or serums into your new skin with our hydration tip on the Ultimate Skin Refiner Machine. These enhancers are typically aimed toward your specific skin goal, which may include reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, dull/dry skin, or enlarged pores.

Step 6: Moisturize and Protect

In this final step, we go in with a SPF moisturizer to finish SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN! As you can tell, we do not take wearing SPF lightly. This step is probably one of the most important parts of the entire process as for any skin care treatment/regimen. Always make sure to protect your skin from those wretched UV rays that cause premature/accelerated aging, sun spots, and even worse, skin cancer.

What are the benefits of a hydrofacial and will it work for me?

Hydrofacials are not only just an amazing treatment because they are thorough, but they are also pretty relaxing and therapeutic. Some of the glamorous results you can get out of this treatment are the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles as well as enlarged pores. It can also even out skin tone and reduce brown spots. Furthermore, hydrofacials increase firmness and overall texture of the skin. With all of that and no downtime, what's not to love?

The hydrofacial treatment is great for all skin types, but should be avoided if you have severe acne, sunburn, or rosacea. Although not recommended, it is possible to receive this treatment if pregnant. Just be sure to let you esthetician or provider know prior to receiving to ensure they have the proper products that are safe for pregnancy.
